Dear God,

Thank you for being in me
& for shining light when it was too dark to see

Thank you for washing away my sins
for if I were to repent, I wouldn’t know where to begin

Thank you for giving me more than what I need
like always, your love for me over-exceeds

& thank you for giving me strength when I’m weak
with you, my future isn’t all that bleak

Lastly, thank you for giving me life
with you in me, I know I have arrived


And only you, my Lord, is perfect
