The heartache that was not heard of

Hi, my name is heartache
I have been hiding in for a while now
No one’s heard of me
Even if they did, it didn’t leave much of an impact

For some time, I thought I was going to disappear into thin air
But then I thought wrong
It’s been quite tough staying on the inside
So I decided it’s time to step out

I went to the doctor
But guess what he said
My pain was too trivial
What was there to cure?

I was THAT insignificant
I tried to explain to others
But they too, felt that it was too trivial a matter
Well I guess, no one would understand

I just have to keep searching
For the cure to this pain
When that day comes
I’ll no longer be called heartache
